June 25, 2021 —This past week, we have been saying Thank You to the Kendal at Ithaca staff in creative and fun ways.
Monday started off with an 80’s theme – Best 80’s Hair and Best 80’s Dressed and a photo ‘guess who’ of people in the 80’s – rounded out with an ice cream social.
Tuesday was declared “Beach Day” with a Hawaiian flair. Smoothies at the “Tiki Bar” and a limbo competition.
Wednesday went summer social with a chicken BBQ and a photo booth for fun. Each staff member was given a special shirt commemorating our 25 years of operation.
Thursday was Carnival Day – Cotton candy and popcorn, a bucket-dunk booth, water balloon toss and inflatable volleyball. It was wet and wild !
Friday wound down with a staff appreciation breakfast and a belly dancing show.
Residents pitched in to help with events and to cheer the staff on. Thanks for all the appreciation expressed !
