July 21, 2021 —Late this morning, we were notified that an employee who works in Taughannock House has tested positive for COVID-19. Effective immediately, all visitation for Taughannock House (Cayuga/Owasco/Seneca neighborhoods) is suspended while a round of testing for all residents and staff is completed.
We are currently reviewing the federal guidance and waiting for guidance from the New York State Department of Health epidemiologist regarding visitation and testing requirements.
This guidance has recently changed to follow federal guidelines when the governor declared the public health emergency over.
We will provide additional information as we receive it.
