Kendal at Ithaca Welcomes New Board Members

Kendal at Ithaca, a values-based senior living community located in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes region, is proud to announce the addition of three new members to its Board of Trustees. Introducing Three New Board of Trustees Members

Justina Fetterly brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit communications to Kendal at Ithaca. With a robust public relations, marketing, fundraising, and event planning background, Justina currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Her expertise in public relations is expected to enhance Kendal at Ithaca’s outreach and engagement within the community and beyond.

Joe Mareane, with a distinguished career in local government that includes nine years as the Tompkins County Administrator, brings a deep understanding of public administration and fiscal management to the board. Joe’s extensive experience in public and private sectors, coupled with his academic background from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, positions him as a key asset in strategic planning and governance.

Sonia Rucker joins the board with a rich history in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Currently serving as the Associate Vice-President of Inclusion and Belonging and Presidential Advisory for Diversity and Equity at Cornell University, Sonia’s leadership roles and commitment to fostering inclusive communities align perfectly with Kendal at Ithaca’s values. Her insight will be invaluable in ensuring that Kendal at Ithaca continues to be a welcoming and supportive environment for all residents.
