March 7, 2024 —ITHACA, NY — Kendal at Ithaca welcomes Danielle (Dani) Chontey as its new director of marketing and community relations. Chontey brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing, operations, and leadership for a local non-profit cooperative to the position.
Chontey previously served as a volunteer for Kendal at Ithaca through the Cornell Companions program. She joins the community following the retirement of Betsy Schermerhorn, who led the marketing department for more than 17 years.
“I am delighted to continue my career with Kendal at Ithaca,” Chontey stated. “Working together with a committed marketing team and other devoted colleagues, I look forward to promoting the many wonderful aspects of Kendal at Ithaca to prospective residents and the wider community.”
