Q: What kind of electricity does Kendal use?
A: We are powered 100% by wind through the local electric company.
Q: Are there garages?
A: Each apartment and cottage come with a one-car carport.
Q: Are meals included in the contract?
A: One meal per day is included. Other meal plan options are available and of course, full meals and a-la-carte items can always be purchased.
Q: Can we have pets?
A: Yes, many residents have pets. There is also a small dog park on campus.
Q: Is transportation available?
A: Complimentary transport to local medical appointments is available and weekly shopping trips are scheduled. We are also on the local TCAT bus route and within walking distance of a number of services. Many residents who have vehicles when they move to Kendal find they use them very little once on campus.
