April 16, 2021 —As we close out another busy week, we have a few updates to share this week. Thankfully, no positive COVID cases to report.
MAIN ENTRANCE RE-OPENING
The Main Entrance will re-open on Tuesday, April 20th. Health Center visitors will be able to check in at the front lobby and there will be an AccuShield device there for COVID screening. Packages will be available for pick up there as well until 7pm on weekdays and until 6pm on weekends and holidays, thanks to resident volunteers. Screening will continue to be available at the South Entrance. There will be a Screener present from 8am – 8pm who can assist first-time users. All visitors are required to screen upon arrival into the Community Center, regardless of vaccination status.
HEALTH CENTER RESIDENTS ACCESS TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER
In a much anticipated change, effective Monday, April 19, Health Center residents will be welcome to use the Community Center, including the dining venues, library, fitness center and activities room. Until now, access has been only on a limited basis for infection control purposes.
