August 27, 2021 —We are disappointed to report that two residents have tested positive for COVID-19 this week. Both residents are fully vaccinated. One is living in independent living and that household is currently under quarantine. Resident activities may continue under the most recent protocols in the Community Center: masks are required indoors except when dining and no guests may dine in the dining rooms, use the pool or fitness area.
The second positive case was confirmed late this afternoon and is in the nursing home’s Owasco Neighborhood. All THouse residents were tested this evening and are negative except for the one who tested positive. At this time visitation is suspended to all skilled neighborhoods – but we hope to open for outdoor visitation soon. We will collaborate with NYS Epidemiology about any further measures we should be taking.
We urge everyone to continue to practice appropriate caution for whatever situation they find themselves in, wearing masks indoors and avoiding crowded areas.
