Living at Kendal at Ithaca

Kendal at Ithaca offers attractive accommodations on a 105 acre campus, with extensive residential services and amenities, and comprehensive health care for life, right on site.  An entrance fee and an ongoing monthly fee cover the costs of care under a choice of three contracts.

Kendal offers independent living in 212 cottages and apartments, but as the needs of people change, either permanently or temporarily, other levels of care are readily available.  Cascadilla House is our adult home, and Taughannock House provides skilled nursing services in single rooms with private baths.

Kendal at Ithaca operates on the principle that the ability of people to choose for themselves must be kept alive.  We provide facilities and space, but residents plan and execute all activities themselves.  This has resulted in the creation of an active, stimulating community, which reflects the interests and wishes of the people living there.

The location of Kendal near both Cornell University and Ithaca College insures extensive cultural, educational and recreational activities, which are easily accessed from Kendal.
