CULTURE OF GIVING

The Kendal Corporation's philosophy of philanthropy goes back over 30 years, when community-minded people made a gift for the establishment of the first Kendal community. This tradition continues at Kendal at Ithaca.

Gifts to Kendal at Ithaca, a not for profit organization, support the goals of our community:

Promoting the development of programs in Ithaca and across the nation to serve the housing, health care and social needs of older adults.

Offering financial assistance for Kendal residents whose circumstances limit their ability to pay Kendal fees.

Providing for Kendal at Ithaca staff development, education and training.

Providing off-site services, including outreach projects, to the wider community.

Providing on-site educational and other opportunities to the wider community.
