OUR EXPERIENCE

Kendal at Ithaca has been open since 1995, but we can tap into experience which goes back over 30 years through our affiliation with the Kendal Corporation. All of the Kendal communities in 6 states, while financially separate entities, benefit from the opportunities to share experiences and education, as guided by the corporate staff. Early proponents of the development of Kendal at Ithaca felt secure about working with the Kendal Corporation, because of its well-documented ability to run financially sound and ethically managed communities.

As Kendal at Ithaca has developed over the years, it has become nationally known. Both national television and the press have featured stories about Kendal and the lives of people who live here. It continues to attract attention from those who have interest in the location of retirement communities in university towns. Kendal at Ithaca achieved accreditation from the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, as have all the eligible Kendal communities.
